Hi there, I'm Esabelle Herrera, founder of Mi Gente Clothing. What started as a simple obsession with festival fashion became a movement fueled by bold self-expression and cultural pride. As a Latina woman, I've always embraced the intersection of heritage and unapologetic style — and I wanted to build a brand that inspires others to do the same.

Where It All Began
The early days of Mi Gente started in a college apartment with a sewing machine and a dream passed down from family. Late nights creating halter tops, pressing rhinestones, selling on Etsy — it wasn't easy. But seeing someone wear a Mi Gente piece at a festival for the first time? That moment changed everything.

Today Mi Gente Clothing is more than a brand — it's a community. Our pieces are designed for women who move through the world unapologetically: moody, edgy, made for techno nights, sweaty dance floors, and festival moments that go way past sunrise.
